The design began as a pencil drawing in the studio, building outward from a pair of pheasants among pear branches and late-blooming roses. Each botanical element was drawn individually before the composition came together. Dense, warm, and full of detail that rewards a second look.

About the artist
LINNA was founded in 2021 by celebrated illustrator Lisel Ashlock. After working as a commercial illustrator in New York for many years, Lisel traded East for West and moved with her family to Petaluma, California.
