The rose illustrations were drawn individually in the studio before being set into the striped border composition. The result is somewhere between a vintage French botanical print and a holiday greeting, warm, considered, and specific. The stripe border carries copper and dusty green tones that run through the whole Winter Orchard collection.

About the artist
LINNA was founded in 2021 by celebrated illustrator Lisel Ashlock. After working as a commercial illustrator in New York for many years, Lisel traded East for West and moved with her family to Petaluma, California.
